Hi all,
It came as a shocker to me that IITKgp is not releasing a waiting list...not that i was waiting for it...its just that i feel that it has been done to accommodate for the OBC quota...
Which makes me think why no news for OBC candidates on the IITD thread?cuz if the same is going to happen here, my chances of converting my WL are near to nil...
Well actually i was so sure of getting through that i was indeed prepared to come to Delhi...
Have i missed something and has IITD accommodated for the quota?
Seniors plz help as to upto which WL no we can expect confirmation and also whether there is any insider info as to how the quota candidates would be accommodated?

sharang why are u panciking man. in any ways going by the supreme court verdict the quota is going to affect us rather it can help us in certan situATIONS as the status quo has to be maintained for general category students.the situations can be that if some selected student is from obc and is offered a seat in iim or suppose iit-b through the obc quota and he chooses that then one more seat will be vacant so chill man

absolutely. the tension is really killing me. i am waitlist 8 and havnt received any letter till now. guess i didnt make it to the 1st wave of waitlist movement. wonder when the next one will be.

Hey one good news for the waitlisted junta...my frnd got a confirmed seat in IIT Delhi and paid the fees. He is waitlisted for SJMSOM (WL-1)...let us all pray he will make into it which would mean another seat gettign vacated for a waiting puy....
