i spoke to the college and they said they would mail/call the individual persons....

Hi seniors,

When can we expect the hostel list to be put up?
As i understand the waiting list candidates need to be confirmed before the hostel list is prepared.Any info by when will this be done?

hi

i recieved a call yesterday evening from IIT Chennai.
They wanted to enquire i was interested in the seat if offered when it becomes vacant.
they were moving in the fashion----first five waitlisted,then 6-10 and so on.
they wanted to assess the situation and make an estimate of how many seats should be released when waitlist is moved.

As for me i did say yes that time but i won't be joining due to personal circumstances

. And i have informed that to admissions office.
They said in that case also everyone for whom Dean gives approval will be sent offer letter and we have to send our acceptance or withdrawl.
The date to withdraw for first list people has passed and all you second list hopefuls will get their letters in a week..All the best

Hello seniors. Just a small query. How many pair of formal clothes wud we require? I already have 2 formal shirts 1 trousers and 1 formal suit do i need more formals immediately or wud it be better if i get it from there itself

It is best to have 2-3 formal pair ready. If you can buy it now, well and good as you will be new to Chennai and exploring the city to buy formal wouldn't be better then to buy it from your home town.
