Hi all,

I called up the Admissions office...a lady picked up the phone and she assured me that since there was a delay in dispatching the letters from DoMs itself, they will accept the DD within 2-3 days after 16th as well... she also told me that there's no need to fax and a confirmation mail to cacad@iitm.ac.in will suffice.

P.S. I'm still waiting for the letter...

Hi All

Dnt want to add some more confusion amidst this lot of confusion :sly:.

I have seen the Fax , Scan , Formated copy of acceptance letter. And they are almost same.

We can use any of these.Fill it up and mail it

I am just going to take a print a send it across with DD and Jmet rank card.

No use of Waiting for just one piece of paper

If I withdraw my offer at a later point of time, how much will I stand to lose? It is given as 1k in the covering letter. But in the “General Instruction” sheet, it is given that 50% of the amount paid will be deducted. When I tried calling up the admissions office, I am getting their answering machine. Can you please confirm which information is correct?

2. form a01 are the general instructions in the set of forms

3. instructions is the first page of the letter

Of course, DoMS will be reassured if they could at least e-mail their decision to join (or not) to doms@iitm.ac.in This information would help Mr. Vasudevan very much to assist with the pre-semester work. I hope the selected candidates will be kind enough to provide this information...

Finally I have couriered the stuff.....Downloaded the acceptance letter from Pthis thread...Draft from ICICI bank...Courier through Bluedart ..

God knows what will happen :sly:...Nothing is in place...
