I have a query..when sending the forms to confirm the admission can my parents or friends do it on my behalf?? I mite not be in town for some time from now...

Yes, they can send it on your behalf but you have to sign the acceptance copy. The first wait list would be opened in june 1st week.

Nope, they dont give the waitlist no, they will release the 1st waitlist in june 1st week.

Btw, I got through DoMS, in the first wait list.

please let us know more about the audit courses that are available to DoMS guys. This is an unique advantage at IIT MBA. Can some one interested in some tech subjects ( me ) opt for Audit course and make the program a sort of MS-MBA. Has any one done that in previous batches ? Wat are the formalities and advantages for audit courses. Please enlighten us.

Please help me with the info.. As I have to make a choice between DOMS-IITM and MS in CsE :robot:at columbia

Its nice to see the updated placement figures, I would like to add one more point.. the 8 foreign placements have reduced the average INR placements a bit.

As an example, even if we moderately assume that the 8 seniors placed with foreign firms got inr salaries of 14 l, the average would shot up to 9.7 lakh. This should be considered as for example IITD seniors has not accepted any foreign offers and so their average is at about 11.9 . The foreign placements and less experienced batch could explain the considerable gap.

I am reasoning out to let others to make informed & weighed choices.

also notice the more number of finance and consulting profiles being taken than else where in IITs.

@Zilabee,

With Audit Subjects, I suppose you mean subjects which u can opt from other departments. If you mean that, then yes thats a really unique feature of IITs.
I am also interested in the same. Want to pick some core subjects in Higher Maths. Are u interested in Finance?
