In order to obtain any information regarding the latest status of availability of seats, you would have to call up the IITR admissions office as none of the students would be present in the IIT, everybody having left for their summer internships.

me converted VGSOM , so will be leaving my DOMS , Roorkee seat once i get confirmation of my draft from vgsom.

Yup, VGSOM has released a second list* [despite their repeated claims that there won't be any other list]. Nonetheless, it has come up as a positive surprise for many candidates. I think that quite a some of the Roorkee admits might have received VGSOM admit calls, so I expect more people to withdraw. Hope it brings some releief to waitlisted candidates at Roorkee.

*This undeclared list has arrived so late, that most people offered have already joined elsewhere and are not willing to join KGP, so there can be a third list as well from VGSOM

i have sent the admission withdrawl letter to doms, roorkee.

so cheers for the probable waitlisters.me joining vgsom.

anuj and trushin have been really wonderful to us all.
wish them best of luck for the life ahead.

doms people have the right attitude and behaviour to face any challenge in life.

so do join doms , iit roorkee .

this year doms 2008 batch will write new placement statistics for doms--
u can mark my words

jus wanted to share some info with ones in the waitlist.
I called the admission ofc today..(n finally they pickd up the call after 3 dez)... i askd the prsn bout the latest status of the waitlist. he said new list will be releasd in frst wk of june. I then askd arnd how many DDs have they rcvd..he replied 40. i dunno guys if he tld me the number of DDs fr gn category only or in total. must be in total i guess. there are 51 seats fr gnrl ctgry na...if we take 35 DDs (out of the 40 DDs) fr gnral ctgry we r left with 16 seats (estimated). the numbr may increase if there r some overlaps in between the scnd list frm VGSOM n the cnfrmd seasts in IIT-R (hopefully..).
so the ranks upto 100---105 may get called. mine seems to be a hopeless case now (gn 141)...
so..all the best waitlisteds.....
