As per the last year's trend, u still hv a fair chance of gettin thru...though the trends may change this time arnd, i wud suggest u to wait until the next list is out to figure out if u can make it here...gd luck !!

i got 141(gn)
dis rank dusn't seem to work out as many ppl luk interestd in IIT-R this yr. the only hope is last yr's record n i m keeping my fingers crossed.
congratulations to all those who converted it to IIT-R or anywhereelse.
seniors ...keeping an eye on the updated excel sheet...can this rank still prove to be fruitful?????

There are following possibilities :

1. the common perception regarding IITs has strengthened in to the minds of budding managers, so people are willing to join IIT Roorkee.
2. Most of the MBA Aspirants use PUY and have voted on this thread, so waitlist trend might continue as last year.
3. There is also a confusion on waitlist of other IITs.
4. only 9-10 people out of top 51 have voted that they would be joining. 80% of students in merit occassionaly visit the threads

I personally feel the trend would continue as last year and might decline but by 20 candidates. So still a fair bit chance for candidates upto Merit Number 150.

Wud agree with Trushin.. there are hardly 20-30% ppl on PG.. so it is not a highly accurate mode.. though it does tel u a trend for sure..

I hope u have updated the excel sheet..
Pls do update it ASAP tht wud help every1... n also do post ur merit number here so tht it cud help the ppl know there chances
