Regarding the median of 10.32 & the avg of 11.44 L...Have these figures been calculated taking only the domestic salaries into consideration....Or have the international offers been included as well??Also, whats the minimum domestic salary offered? :tellme:

these figures are only for the domestic offers... the average was calculated taking into account only the domestic figures!

These figures are based only on domestic salaries...international offers are not included in these figures.

There is no official specification my friend, so go ahead and buy any laptop which suits your need/budget...
Personally i would suggest to buy the latest configuration as laptops change specifications very quickly.
Plus buy one with a lot of hard disk space, as you will require a lot of it for the close to 50 Terabytes of movies/songs/documentaries/reading material that you find on the invaluable IIT Kharagpur LAN ...After you come here, you will be mesmerized by the magical piece of software called DC++...more on this later...
