Will it be ppossible for SJMSOM to confirm that they have received draft of students or not as with that ppl who have got call from both SJMSOM and DMS can deposit the money only at one place.

the refund policy as of now is of no-refund....this is a policy decision...however, it can be taken up on a case to case basis later depending on the situation..but i cant give u any concrete answer on this as of now..

u need to deposit the fees at the MAIN BUILDING at IIT....i dont know the exact place but u can go to the academic office in the main building and enquire..

hi akshay,

we would send out the confirmation emails most probably after 22nd april only..
two reasons for this->
i) we would get a consolidated list of all confirmed applications from the academic office only after that..
ii) we are currently in the middle of our end term exams which would get over on 22nd april only..
hope u understand..

meanwhile, i would suggest all who are sending the drafts to do the following:

a) please send a scanned copy of ur acceptance form to admissions id..
b) call up at the registrar office (numbers are there in the acceptance form) and try enquiring about the receipt of your DD...

Now as many results (basically all except IIMs) has arrived so can we start a poll on this thread about the persons who are joining and who are not joining SJMSOM.

This might give us a little better image and waitlisted guys like me would come to know what there chances of making it.

couple of queries about the laptops:

what was the kind of discount that you people got on your laptops last year and which brands were considered?
do we get our laptops before joining or would we have vendors coming to the campus for bulk deals?

hey ravish,

some of us got the laptops before joining..it was through deals going on in other colleges and also on PG....however, it is not imperative to do that..

also, close to 20-25 people got the laptops after joining the college...one of the guys from the class took the initiative of taking the deal through..one of u can do the same..may be you can start discussions on the community..the discounts generally range from 20-40% depending upon the vendor/number of people/brand....

Tried calling up the admissions office to enquire abt the receipt of my Draft...
One number busy...other no one's picking up... has the IPL fever caught on @ IIT B too

Anyways, i hv sent the scanned copy to admissions id so is it possible to get some confirmation mail ???
