I had contacted a bank here for edu loan... the manager was ok with the fees structure doc (dwnloaded with offer letter).. however he said tht it wd b better if i cd get a bonafide letter from the college reg the expenses...
is it possible to ask the SOM office to provide me the expense letter by post... so that i can finish all the loan related work b4 joining SOM... else i'll hv to collect it at the time of registration and then proceed with the formalities with the bank !!!

Hey Buddy,

The bonafide certi is generally given after u join SOM and are registered on the college rolls...but i would enquire if there is some other way out..would get back to u in a day or two..

HI Moderator,

I have been waitlisted on SJMSOM and have a very heavy waitlist number. But as this is my best bet for the season and i dont want to repeat one more year, just thought will ask you as to realistically till how much the waitlist is expected to clear on 25th.
ANd after that, how much time will be given for the confirmed call on the second list to pay the fees so that a second clearance on the remaining waitlist can be published.

Please dont mind the query, just trying to calculate the real chances of getting a confirmed call from SJMSOM.

its really hard to comment on this as this will all depend on the number of people opting for other colleges...last year the waitlist moved only till 20 or so...
for the people who would be given calls on the 2nd list, they will again get around 15 days to pay the fees...

hey,

you might not require the migration certi at the time of joining...but eventually you need to produce the same at a later point of time (may be after 1-2 months)...it would be good if u can start the process to apply for it asap...in my case i had asked one of my friends to apply for it and then the university had sent the migration certi directly to me..in fact many of us did the same thing and got the certificate through post...

What would you suggest us to do?
Should we go ahead and pay the DMS fee along with SJMSOM(provided we have a confirmed call from SJMSOM)

If u have a confirmed call from sjsmom..please deposit the fees as the last date for fee payment is unchanged as of now....the confirmed calls given will not be affected by the reservation issue...

Can u tell me to exactly where the fees needs to be deposited.....is it the IIT office or at SJMSOM....as im waitin for the IIM results to come so not paying up till the last moment....so ill not be sending fees by post.......ill come personally.....is there any chance that fees can be refunded as last year some students had got refund......
