Hi parsuram,
You can avail the loan from SBI under the "SCHOLAR Scheme" which offers loans to students from top institutions of the country at slightly lower intrest rates than the prevailing market rates.
Based on my experience, i would suggest you to take the loan from your hometown(you will get the benefits of "scholar scheme" over there too by showing the call letter) since you would be relatively free for next two months and once you are here it would consume some time to follow the entire loan procedure.
However if you still wanna take loan from here, make sure you are well prepared with the following documets:-
Student:
1)Two copies of passport size photograph
2)Proof of identity
3)Proof of residence
4)Statement of marks: SSC,HSC,FY,sy,ty, final year of degree
5)Degree certifications: Graduation,Post Graduation, Diploma(whichever is applicable)
6)Copies of letter conferring scholarship, freeship, studentship etc.
7)I-card zerox(u will get in once you are here)

Document evidencing the duration of the course & commencement thereof viz. Prospectus(you will get it over here)
9)Shedule for expenses for the course
10)A declaration/an affidavit confirming that no loans are availed from any other bank.
11)Letter giving reasons, in case of gap in ther course of education(gap certificates).
Documents of guardian/parents/guarantor(if applicable)
1)two copies of passport size photograph
2)Proof of identity(passport/PAN card/driving license)
3)proof of residence(electricity bill/telephone bill/ration card)
4)Statement of bank A/C for last six months
5)existing loan statement for last six months, if applicable.
6)signature verification from the banker
7)I T returns for last two years(with form 16,for salaried person)

Balance sheet for last two years(non-salaried)
9)last three months salary slips
Till date we have not been asked for the signature of the guarantor since it was not required under this scheme. Also bring the attested copies for the documents mentioned above wherever applicable.....
cheers,
