I had my gd/pi on 29th march, 2 pm slot... But the gd for our group started at 4pm... There was the registration and document verification done in 15 minutes.

The presentation was very impressive and the seniors were more than willing to take on the questions..

The gd topic was reservations - good or bad... Our group didnt have a fish market... Everyone had a chance to speak, though there were lots of repetition of points... There were abstract topics given to the other groups. Topics like 'left, right 123', 'to decide not to decide' etc. were some of them.

The interview was the one where there was the economics madam, 1 professor and 1 person from the industry.
The questions asked were:
Tell us something about yourself.
Why MBA?
What is the foreign exchange rate of dollar, pound and euro?
What is the effect of appreciating rupee on import and export?
Since I had written my interest as HR in my SOP, the industry person asked how I can be successful.
He was trying to state that HR managers are failures and now that everyone gets guides to study what will come to them for the HR interviews, its nothing innovative and that anyone can get thru an HR manager fooling them.
I was also asked about my preference and the other calls I got.

Yes my Friend it was "Lineker" the footballer .... and as rightly pointed out by you

They were mentioning about the same controversy

But poor us, none of us knew about the controversy at the time of GD/PI, only one of my friend only knew that "Lineker" is a footballer.
