i somehow dint find the list so useful, as it confuses me for ppl who have both calls...

i have added another sheet to it, which will help tracking both BM and PMIR list. it wud take few seconds. please update in Sheet 2 and help waitlisters

Iwould request all of u who have converted both BM and PMIR to vote on a new poll started on orkut so that waitlisted guys cud get a rough idea of theri chances.Till now only 5 ppl have voted their.Humble request for all others to do so asap.

coz hv a notice period of 2 months so lukin for a clearer picture asap.

Puys, there is another problem. Now HRD ministry wants to implement the quota in IIMs which is exactly against the Supreme Court verdict. So, there's gonna be a long tussle. And IIM result wud be pending till a decision is made.

Apart from delaying the wailist movement, it also has a ripple effect. Many people are pretty confused between IIMs and XL. But they wud have to submit the xl fees for securing their seat. Soon, the last date for refund from xl gets over and they stay with xl only (since xl is almost at par with iims)...

So, who lose out?? First of all the waitlist ppl who do not have calls from a better insti.
Then ofcourse, country loses out as some non-deserving candidates get the benefits !!!

PS: personal comments only. Nothing against the ppl of reserved categories. But I am really against the quota system based on caste and creed which were determined more than a century ago. Where's the motto of EQUALITY in this???
