I just wanted to ask that have u been able to contact almost all the XL call getters.. or only the ones on orkut n PG.. ? as u said "we might not know bout a few".. As that means u ve contacted almost 100+ ppl out of the total 120 seats for BM, n that is excluding the WL people.. So was curious to knw..
Ur reply can clear the confusion..

Remember, I titled it as personal comments; so that ensures that its not sure or official...

1. No, I have not been able to contact almost all the XL call getters, only people who were active on PG or Orkut.

2. I m not the only one on this data-mining... Ppl like manan, seeds, etc. had an equal role to play

3. If you try to see previous posts, see Post no. 251. It will give u a brief idea regarding number of ppl we have contacted...
(bout 60 call-getters and 60 waitlisters)

4. When I said a few, all I meant was that now there r only a few ppl left who wud leave XLRI-BM (apart from the ones in our list). Thats coz no of ppl leaving xl is always very less...

5. The calculations were just a statistical picture of the waitlist scenario. It was the worst case possibility according to our data. But since we can never ever vouch for our data, so we cannot vouch for the calculations either... This is inspite of the fact that I m pretty sure that we wont be disappointed. (stats being my forte )

6. We can only rely on official communication. Right now the BM waitlist stands at 51. I don't know if it stops here or it trickles down to 100. All I can do is hope (for 61) !!!

7. I hope this clears the fog from ur eyes. Else ask others to clarify the same. (I apologize if u find it rude but this is not the best time to reason)

Called up XL today... They told me I was through and that I should be getting my letter in a day or two... They also said that the BM waitlist has moved on to 51 and the PMIR waitlist, quite interestingly, is at 23....

I dredged the "XLRI Results Out" thread again to find out if number 52,53, 58,59,60 are there or not... But no luck.

I hope they have better things to do than joining XL...

Dunno whthr their word can b relied upon!!! D lady ws nt forthcoming wen i told her dat my WL no. is 66!!!

Kahan kho gayi hai saari junta....waitlist clear nahin karvani hai kya??

did smbdy call up XL tdy??? i urge evrybdy to post ny info here too as i dnt hv ny access to orkut frm office!!!

i seriously hope tapan,vj,manan r out partyin with thr waitlist cleared...so dat i m next in line.......or else whre d hell r u guyz??? m gettin a lil freaked out here!!!!

We also are a bit freaked out here... They just dont tell us the correct thing. I guess they also follow PG and tell us the last disclosed info.

BM list is still at 51 dude... we are all waiting and praying too. You too can join us....

good news for pm people , a frnd of mine , Annamalai is opting out of xlri , joinin 1 of the iim's .. he had a convert in PMIR ... he has intimated the office of his decision today or yesterday only ........
