Had called up XIMB now... The person there informed me that my effective waitlist no is 44.. which means that 1 person has cancelled the offer.. Is that you Swagat He was in hurry.. So couldn't talk much after that... If anyone of u call them, pls ask when are they expecting next movement.

this 15 students buffer will be there every year...so nothing like effective...say it as 29.....so mine will be 24 now...i ill call admission office after 3 days and let u knw any other progress....

No yaar the effective means 30+15 = 45.. and now 44.
Basically 1 from the covertee list has cancelled.. and we need 14 more cancellations for any movement to happen..

Subsequent to the official announcement by IIMs (PGP Admissions Notice) that the results would be declared on May 1st, further movement in the WL can hopefully be expected.

Nope, I haven't cancelled it yet. As I said earlier, I'm waiting for the MDI letter to reach me. But that hasn't happened so far. And yes, I will post it here as soon as I cancel my seat.

Your chances are below 50%, and even if it gets converted, it may happen around third week of June. We may give maximum one week's time for joining the programme.
