PMIR is all about human resources mgmt and industrial relations mgmt.
Whereas BM has various options to specialise in the 2nd year, say in Fin, Mktg, Ops, Sys, etc.
Decide on the basis of your career interest 
Placement wise both the options are viable... and anyways i feel your career choice in deciding the course should depend more on your orientation and less on immediate placements...

seniors!!! tell me abt lateral placement package of bm course in finance as i hve 5 yr work exp in bsnl n go through gmp n waitlist is 17 in bm so i assume waitlist will be clear so pls tell me which course i opt???
