A friend of mine is waitlisted for XLRI-BM at 27. He called the admissions office ten minutes ago, and they said the WL has now reached 23rd place (WL 23 has been offered an admission.)

Yeah, I also called up XLRI in the afternoon. The lady said that the waitlist has moved to 25. So ur friend is in I guess.
I am at 57, hope there 32 more to leave and they do it fast .

I called XLRI today an dthey said the PM&IR waitlist has cleared only till 9. I read on the thread somewhere it has cleared till 13. Is it definately till 13? Have the people who are waitlisted 10 to 13 recieved call from XLRI or is it based on hearsay?

I had called xl yester to know abt pmir wl status. Was, for the first time , told that, it had cleared till 13.
Interestingly, tho 13 had defen cleared even a week ago according to this thread, the xl admission officials always told, only 10 had cleared. Still cant figure out the logic.,
Maybe, the culprit is the declination of the offer thro snail mail.

But it is defe not 10, goiing by what i was told yester.

Just found this on the XLRI website.. not much use now but FYI please..
I think its the first time they have actually published the cutoffs.. and no. of calls..

"For Personnel Management and Industrial Relations Programme a total of 288 applicants having more than 93.4 percentile in VA, 83 percentile in QA, 90.5 percentile in RA, and overall 97.5 percentile have been shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

For Business Management Programme a total of 490 applicants having more than 90.4 percentile in VA, 92.9 percentile in QA, 90.5 percentile in RA, and overall 98.5 percentile have been shortlisted for Personal Interview."

i m waitlisted 33 for the bm course and hope to convert it soon
would like to request neone of u who has converted their call and have recieved a letter from the institute
could you pls post the content of that letter or pm it to me
i am a little skeptical about the

1. date of joining
2. hostel details...things we need to carry along
3. date of reporting...etc

so that i could go ahead with train reservation and stuff....if neone of u could help would be great

this happens usually with the results.things go haywire and no 1 is ready to give a confirmed date.

Also can any of the waitlisted candidates who got the offer letter from XLRI tell how much time do they give to submit the fees? and what is the amount?
