If you plan to take loan, there's a SBI bank just outside the campus. Really helpful ppl. We got one pamphlet from the bank last yr (came by post, they somehow got the address from XLRI). The interest rate is also one of the cheapest in the country. Join the orkut community for more info. I'm sure ppl will start discussing loan soon enough...

As mentioned in one of the posts, since last yr, i.e., 2007, a candidate can apply to both PMIR n BM, which was not the case earlier where a candidate had to choose btw BM n PMIR at the time of application itself. That means there are a few candidates with both BM&IR calls and the trend seems to that more no ppl leave PMIR for BM than vice versa. So, the waitlisted shortlist will definitely increase beyond 13 and this also explain the much higher waitlisted shortlist last yr.
If u're having sleepless nights, then, i think, u.r.really.stupid... just kidding... u've a pretty good chance

Couldn't resist posting a reply here.....think about the top five industry leaders according to you...now try and think about their specialization....do you know any? It doesnt matter in the long run....main thing is that you should be interested in what you are doing.....sitting just outside the gates of a B-School one tends to think that the best specialization is one which max junta are opting for, but maybe that is not what you would like to do forever.....look at your strengths...see the industry leaders and then decide.... all the best and congratulations to all the new kids on the block...
