First of all congos...

Thanks. Yes, it is from FT because they sent ' common mails' to 5 people. BUT the gen cat names are only 3. The other 2 do NOT belong to gen cat. Their names are not in the gen cat waitlist. Hey, hang on though - I'm sure 2 more will definitely drop out and you'll be in . All the best. Keep ringing them up and asking. I'm going to pay my fees on Monday - if there's further movement, I'll post in pg.

You say 2 more will definitely drop out..was that out of sympathy(thx for that if it were so) or u have some proof to that..

Whee! This wait is definitely getting excruciating, and as the joining date approaches, things dont look too encouraging for waitlisters at 30+.

Seniors, I have a question and I would be glad of you could answer it. I am at WL 33. Hypothetically, if i get a call say on the 1st week of July, would FMS give me some time to tie up loose ends at work (i.e. resignations etc), or would we e expected to join directly? I mean I dont think our work places would be too kind to offer a relieving letter and work-ex certificates in a day's notice.

Thanks to all the other waitlisters who have updated the status regularly here! I just hope all's not down here for the rest of us yet!

dude,

I am in XIMB and would have withdrawn my seat if i had got selected in FMS(WL-30).. but the picture doesn't look bright till now moreover with the classes starting next week for FMS.. My friend, if by any chance i get a seat in FMS i would be withdrawing my seat the very next day from XIMB so pray for me, will you?

It was not out of sympathy but no proof as such. When I went to pay my fees on Monday 23rd, I asked them about further WL movement. They said that they would wait till June 30th for further withdrawals. I personally feel that you will get in. IIMs have opened on June 23rd and if some people drop out of some lower-ranked IIMs, then maybe someone from FMS will leave. Don't forget that there has been an increase in seats in not only FMS but also IIMs. I understand how agonising the wait can be - I went thru it, till recently. All the best!

Yes, unfortunately u wud be asked to join immediately.. coz ur name will appear on the roll call frm the next day

ur attendance will suffer if u dnt join
