And you do not know the aims, aspirations of the guy who is leaving......and i am not even sure how can his decision affect anyone else's decision to join any institute...be it FMS or IIM A......it would be pity if it did....shows that his aims are decided by other's words or actions....
Everyone has different priorities in life and it is a personal decision from the student concerned. The reason may be anything. It may be a childhood fascination for the IIM tag or may be something trivial as delhi weather not suiting him . So let us not speculate on that. We can neither force him or coax him to give the logic behind his decision, if he wishes to do so, great.

IMHO, every B-School has its own different strengths and weaknesses.
In case of a choice, a student has to see himself whether he is suited to the environment, culture, class composition etc of that B-School rather than expecting the B-School to provide his happiness quotient. Expectations should match.
Though I may have expected a more mature reply from jindalharia, he being a committee head, his point is still valid. There are 92 more people who are happy with the way things are.
I think this is a very trivial issue which is being discussed a lot. Lets move on and talk about things which really matter in coming two years. You guys can do better.

Cheers,
Rohit

Although Rohit has done the job, it would still like to clarify myself. I think I delayed a bit in posting on "All I wanted to say about CAT". People go through it and then PM me for further clarifications.

I dont remember a long chat happening Mr. Himanshu. AFAIR, it was more to do with your IIML interview and Malay Ray classes and discussions.

i guess i do end up upsetting people on FMS thread alot which is a exception in my case............
in this case, i just shared the info that i had witout taking names but i guess my choice of words again caused people getting hurt

As far as my memory is concerned, usually it's pretty decent, although i cannot say with 100% certainity now that i remember evrything crrctly since u seem to be quiet sure of certail things which u said/not said

wat i do remember is that PG didn't crop up in our discussion at all, maybe u talked abt it wit some oder guy

i agree that i shud not post my conclusions about anybody(abt u being tense) on a public forum for which i sincerely apologise to this forum

Since i never thot that u talked about PG with me, i put up a genuine question to u on the froum divulging that u actually attended K interview, subsequently wen u Pm'ed me to remove that info i did that immediately and put the comment "as requested" almost naturally and spontaneously

I remeber u using phrases lik "ARe u out of ur mind" in the pm to me ,, i was hurt but still thot that my post mite potentially harm u and hence removed it...about my being "insane" in the choice of words which i use in editing the post , i don't think u r anybody to judge that

Anyways, i do realise that i have posted somthings which i shudn't have and i am sorry for that, just that i will never use such language/phrases for any puy at alll and i wud appreciate that u undrstand that u need to atleast restrain urself in this regard

My sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We did discuss PG too !!! Anyhow, no point in discussing it now; given the memory lapse. I also apologize for the strong words I used and u feeling bad abt it.

Thanks again for editing your post.

Peace!!!!

P.S. - I never said ANY IIM

I was geeting desparate and frustated....not just at office but also in my personal life...
after reading ur story...I think ...i wud just try to implement what u conveyed..
1.Patience pays
2. Efforts never go waste
3. Samay se pehle aur kismet se zyada kuch nahin milta and the likes.
