And you do not know the aims, aspirations of the guy who is leaving......and i am not even sure how can his decision affect anyone else's decision to join any institute...be it FMS or IIM A......it would be pity if it did....shows that his aims are decided by other's words or actions....

hey dude.. where have i said that he will influence me??I have always considered FMS equal to the best there is in india..n thats why i had tis question..there is no harm in asking questions.. d last time i checked India was still a democracy..bt I like the way seniors come to FMS' defence (may I add without any provocation, though)..I wud love to be a part of anyv col that wud instill in me such strong emotions

He was pretty clear that he wanted an IIM even after one year at FMS, he said that an IIM is a IIM and leave alone C he would have taken any IIM for that matter.(was quiet tense before his interview to do well)


My motive is not to demean any college , just wanted to share this specific info that i had abou the query from a puy.

PS: my personal opinion is that u really can't compare FMS and IIMC, they are way apart, but to leave after a year is something to be decided keeping a lot of oder factors in mind apart from pure merit of cllgs

this is 2 throw some light on knowledge of d person who spoke abt comparision bt IIMC n FMS.....c first of all they r d premier institutes of country one thm offers a dergree othr a diploma.
second one bost of it's small batch size n othr of it's 250+ ...batch
one is d oldest of f lot othr ...yunger to previous one.
one carries d reputaton of it's rich alumini base .....n othr tooo...
one is d hardest to get in ...coz of d batch size ..n othr also...to some extent...
companies come with same prodiles to both od thm...
N d biggest is one is Media savvy......but not d othr....proud FMS'ites...

n dis think suckz..v al r literate..still v go by ranking ..rumors..use ur brain Man!..

So..thr a lot many cases whr ppl leave one for othr n viceversa...
n somebody leaving one 4 othr must .....b a dude...salut...he will be satify lest he get into stanford...coz......rest is d same.......they fall in d same league ...d IVY legue..

dude....tel u one thing dirst of u really donno who is faking or who has ..made..it enven in d forum..
i hve seen instances....whr ppl say dat some1 didn't join IIMA coz....FMS...is in delhi.
n same way...one joined symbiosis to IIMK..so u never...know..hwt ppl r upto..
so best v can do is use our brain..n accept wht is genuine.
d fight comtinues....

All i can say is that every person is different; in terms of aspirations,needs,dreams etc...
You know different things make different people tick....

So theres no general answer to your query... only personal opinions... which may differ widely...
