Well, I think that he meant to say that the WL movement dropped from 52 in 2006 to 26 in 2007 due to the excellent placements of the 2006 batch.

A strange question as I feel that FMS placements have always been excellent!
Correct me if I am wrong

I was only wondering whether a lot more people preffered FMS over some of the institutes perceived to be better than it, last season (Waitlist moved only till 26 as opposed to the consistent 50's)

I was thinking it was maybe because the FMS batch had done better than these other institutes the previous season, and so people considered it a better choice.

I understood ur point buddy but my whole concern is that people are picking up stuff out of thin air and relating it with WL movement. I understand ur anxiety but plzzz..be a little patient Thats all !

According to me, yes. People in our batch generally had no difficulty in choosing FMS from their calls

hi seniors........need ur help here..........i am waitlisted 1 in ms and waitlisted 59 in full time..........think wil convert msbut not ft.........so wanted to knw how different is the ms course frm the ft one ? i mean content wise and the placement profile wise ?till now fms ms remains my best bet........so eagerly waiting 4 ur answers

Waitlist movements depend on too many factors to exactly pinpoint something and analyze it at a microscopic level. I was WL 4 and had to wait for 2 months before I could even pay my fees. But after that, WL moved pretty much quickly to end at 26 over the next one month. Delay in waitlist movements at the IIMs adds to the delay here.

There are quite a few ppl who had other calls but preferred to join FMS over other institutes like XLRI (myself) and the IIMs.

So chill out, bask in the glory and just wait for the list to move

Hello everyone!

My only call and I made it to MBA-FT. Pretty kicked about coming to Delhi!

I stay in Bombay, am an engineer, currently working in the IT Department of UltraTech Cement.

Will probably go and pay up Tuesday.
