Some points on hostel accomodation:
VKRV Rao Hostel has 32 seats which is given only to outstation candidates as per the internal merit list of FMS. Once you deposit the fees in the college and confirm ur admission, u can come down to the VKRV and collect ur hostel forms. The forms are to be submitted sometimes by the mid of June( as was the case last time) and then the hostel comes out with the final list in the 2nd week of July.
For outstation people not getting VKRV accomodation, u can stay in flats in and arnd the campus area. Thats not a prob at all and we guys will help ya out in getting one.
Also i remem coming down to the campus again for deposting the fees and stuffs last year. So i guess, the physical presence of candidate is required while taking admission.
cheers!!!

Oops....Im very sorry....Double Post
Ok...i will just add on here.
For the initial arnd 10 days in July, till the time ur hostel list comes out, outstation candidates can stay in the hostel by paying a nominal fees on the per day basis. U can enquire about this clearly while u collect ur forms from the hostel.
Rock on..
cheers!!!

Seniors can you please answer this query asked before (I just reached home from Delhi). When are the percentiles/ranks coming out?
After a pretty decent GD and PI I didn't convert the call, and could not even make it to the waitlist (I have converted SIBM Pune and NM so maybe I am in a position to judge my GD PI experiences). So I really want to analyse what went wrong. Please help me out.
Don't want to dampen the high spirits here, so everyone who converted: Congrats! Party time! | | | | | | | |

And yes, I was veryy excited last night.. I wish I could take u all through my journey through CAT.. Its been quite a ride.. And when it started, I had no idea I would do so well.. FMS was a dream.. IIMs were unachievable..
I was quite upset last night with all this.. Only coz of the fact that it was very unexpected.. PG has been so amazing! All the puys have been so supportive, so this came as a very rude shock.. But I guess its ok.. Can't help it!
For now, I'm done with all my interviews and its time to partyyyyy!!!!!!!!!! | The journey is tough .. The journey is long.. sometimes it gets wrong..U have proven ur worth and PG is proud to have a member of ur decree.. Hope u stay more and inspire others.

Guys its finally sinking in that i dint make it to the top 63 general seats ... Now i realize what an achievement it is to be on that list(all categories)
Anyway one thing i can categorically say of my FMS experience is that its been a reality check of sorts for me... I was pitted against some of the best minds in the country and waitlist 38 is not all that bad considering how i started off the season just narrow mindedly thinking of CAT preparation and never really concentrating on improving my knowledge...
Wide reading, awareness etc is something that ill take from this years GD/PI prep and a huge chunk of the credit shd go to the motivation that i got from my FMS call ... Well thank god im at 38... Which means my confidence will be in good shape leading up to next season... This season has hinted to me that i can aim for the best of the best institutes in the country next year.... Ive decided its going to be only the biggies next year and ill probably start focus on getting an years work ex and not go for my other 2 b school selections (in my signature)...
Guys who got selected... Great show !!
PS. Parul bajaj... I take my hat off... Those many calls!!... i mean the conistency in exams is unbelievable... And already 2 great converts... And please do post ur experience of the whole season, would love to hear it and heres hoping i have the same luxury of choosing b schools next season! Season 07:
Final Results: SIBM, NMIMS, FMS (WL 38 )
