Got through FMS - FT and have been wait listed for MS. Will be taking up FT for sure. Will be coming to FMS to pay the fees sometime in the last week of March.
Just had a couple of doubts though.saw the list of hostels put up on the website. Can the seniors fill us in on the procedures involved in getting ourselves enrolled in hostels. V. K. R. V. Rao Hostel has 30 seats a year for FMS students, I gather, but what about the others and how good are they. How long is the process likely to last. Can I book a room and pay the fees and leave on the same day. And most importantly, is it necessary to have a local guardian in Delhi (I know absolutely no one there....personally at least).

Hi, can any senior please tell me whether the fees will be refunded in case we don't end up joining fms later? 9970 is not a very small amount for some of the students..

fees has to be refunded back, as per as the aicte ruling.
but the question is who will like to leave a college like FMS!!!

Well, I hope to convert one of the IIMs although I m really happy to have one of the best b-schools there is in the bag

1. One needs to come in person to deposit the fees
2. Hostel procedure can be checked once you come to deposit the fees
3. Having a LG in delhi is not a criteria at all

Amit Sir, I have doubts:

If a person deposits the fees for MBA(MS) and at a later stage his MBA(FT) is converted, will he get back the money he deposited for MS program:

Also, for admission, do we need to bring the original call letter sent via snail mail or Exam Admit Card will do? (Going by our postal dept. I dont expect everyone to get his/her call letter before last date)

@all.....for everyone coming to the campus to deposit the fees and wanting to meet any one of us, please tell about ur plans by sending a pm and we will see if we can arrange something post exams....FYI from 24th(Mon) to 1st(April) we have exams and hence we will b in the campus at arnd 1pm all these days.
