the fee structure has a column titled 'learning materials,examinations'..4500 bucks devoted to it every term..does this include books??

Yes i think its for books only that the authorities gonna provide...
In our fee structure we had Rs 4000 in each term...

Neways as mentioned earlier books are not that important...

Another post of mine, totally unrelated to the discussion going on…but nonetheless about Goa.

Yesterday, I gatecrashed a Goan Wedding. Let alone a goan one, I had never even been to Christian wedding till date. Now the bride was a former Co-worker of the son of a friend of my dad…do you get it…he he

It was a pretty grand affair. Boss…Goans LIVE IT UP…and how… First of all two small kids handed us a pack of confetti. Then the bridegroom made a grand entry and every one attacked the newlyweds with those bits of thermocol. The poor Groom kept a brave face amid all the party snow and party threads falling on him caking up his face as if he has just biked in from Laddakh….

Up next a dapper dressed guy came and gave a little lecture. Soon one other guy came and raised a toast to the couple…It was at this point I realized the meaning of those tiny little shot glasses of wines that were passed to everyone…Me a teetotaler….had to raise the toast with a…. well…toast!!!!

After this the music began….and the comperer urged everyone to find a partner and hit the dancefloor. Poor me again…the stigma of a gatecrasher, no one to dance with amid so many stunning lookers…..and was reduced to watching the dance from the sidelines. Everyone danced…some badly with two left feet and some ppl who knew how to. Eventually a hottie in a micromini skirt set the dancefloor ablaze with a stunning salsa number along with the her partner while I watched the fiery performance in pure awe….

The music was all English western and then later Goan with Remo and stuff…but thankfully no bollywood. The dancing went on and on and boss they have got so much energy that they kept on dancing despite being drenched in sweat…and whats more, groups of people lifeted the chairs that both the bride and groom were sitting on and trooped them

And the most fortuitiously, I was wearing my favourite lavender coloured formal shirt and the theme colour of the wedding too was lavender…right from the décor to dresses of the bridesmaid to best man to the car festoons…it was all splash of light purple…

Then came the most awaited part, the food. Even though there was no Roti, there was rice and high quality bread along with Chicken and meat XACUTI…It was awesome. I know the caterer will be hard pressed to provide such food…but even if I get to eat such food once in a while…..ghar ki yaad zyada nahi aayegi…

All in all I met so many goans of all religions and realized that they are such nice people. I hope I meet the same ppl in their native also. So this one event gave me another reason to rejoice this tryst with goa that destiny has set up for me….AMEN…

hey guys , m posting on this thread after a long long time....it seems( again i may add) tht our wait wil finally(lets hope so) be over tommorrow..... as helpful as GIM administration has ben uptill now , i hope it remains tht way and declares the list tom( with my name in it:innocent

but in case somehow it is not able to release the list tom( which usually has happened and most likely will be the case tommorrow:frown i wil DIE OUT OF ANXIETY!!!!:redface:

the purpose of writing this post is to share my feelings with u all( i am feeling like an insomniac...cant sleep for next 9-10 hrs) after all its all about the tag

Well friends,
I had called GIM today...They are saying that there has been no second list movemnt so far because the seats are full with the 1st list candidates only....Also, they are saying there has been no cancellation so far....Well, I guess it ends here itself...If somebody calls again pls ask how long they intend to keep our drafts..I was too depressed to ask this...
