GIM Final Results 2008 out!!!

Hi All,

ANDHRA BANK has a tie-up with GIM n offers loan at reduced rates..
Here r the details:

Security:

• Upto Rs.4.00 Lacs guarantee of parent
• Rs.4.00 to 7.50 lacs - guarantee of the parent
• Above Rs.7.50 Lacs--Collateral Security of suitable value & guarantee of the parent

Interest:

• Upto Rs.4.00 Lacs--(BMPLR -1.25) - Presently 11.75%</B>
• Above Rs.4.00 lacs--(BMPLR + 0.50) presently 13.50%

(BMPLR at present: 13.00%)

• Concession of 0.50% for women for sanctions after 01.07.2005

DIFFERENT RATES OF INTEREST - DIFFERENT INSTITUTES

• Wherever Andhra Bank has entered into MOU with

---- IIRM,BITS,Pilani ; BITS, Goa ; IPE ; Goa Institute of Management
Rate of Interest is 9 % fixed.
----ISB - Rate of Interest (BMPLR -3.50) is 9.50 % floating
----GMRIT ; SVUCCMIS, Tirupathi ; IIIT, Hyderabad ;CIHL(ZIC
Center, Gurukulam)Hyderabad ; Balaji Society, Pune ; ICFAI Business
School -Rate of Interest is (BMPLR-2.00) 11.00 % Floating
NO PROCESSING CHARGES ; NO PREPAYMENT CHARGES APPLICABLE

INTEREST WILL BE CHARGED ON SIMPLE BASIS DURING STUDY /HOLIDAY PERIOD only.

In short, for GIM it offers loan at 9% interest...

Summer Internship is boring ! and I miss GIM, Goa and fish curry ! and looking at Mumbai beer rates, cant enjoi dat also

Make sure u reach on time on hostel allotment day and take the best rooms available
Mine was OT 24 ... its nice room but bit small for two.

so what else apart from the WL queries ?

I had mailed them yesterday... They asked me to call me on the 19th of may....

Hey Guys,
I received the receipts and the acknowledgements around a week ago, pretty soon after I had sent the second draft!

And also, for anyone who's applying for a loan, I spoke to Mr.Ramamurthy, apparently the person in charge for loans at Andhra Bank, Goa. He says that the bank will issue a loan for only 4 lakh rupees. And the interest rate is 10.75%
Anyone else with any other info, please do let me know.

As far as the formal communication goes from authorities yes its 19th....

just to clarify.... waitlisters don't have to pay any other amount other than the first demand draft which was already made i hope........ can someone confirm.....

^^^ Yes, you need not pay anything more until your final admission is confirmed... upon which you will have to pay 30k (not exactly sure) within 15 days... Correct me if I am wrong..
