Hi Ritesh,
Although it is good to get ur registration transferred, but then, thankfully, in India we can drive any registration number vehicle in any part of the country..
So my suggestion would be to let it be..there wud be no hassles , plus, 2 years later, you may have to repeat the same activity..so tht is a drawback too..
I don't know abt the RTO, but I thought I cud share this with you..
good luck with ur bike!

Dont bother about NOC .. I rode my Gurgaon registered bike extensively in goa... and at all odd hours .. I was never stopped ... no need to get NOC .. drop the idea..

Hi,
Regarding this RTO funda, I think I can contribute a bit. As I had gone to Goa on a bike, we were stopped by Pernem Police....in the dead of the night.
FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE A MUST AND SHOULD BE IN PROPER ORDER
1) Registration Certificate (RC Book)
It is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL that the vehicle be registered in YOUR NAME, Because there is some locha in Goa regarding ppl giving their bikes on rent illegally. If its not in your name, the BETTER get it registered.
2) INSURANCE
Absolute must. (Ours wasnt in order and we paid the price)
3)Pollution Under Control (PUC)
last and not least.....
4) A valid driving license.
If all ure papers in order no need to worry about registration. Thanks to our previous generation who fought a bloody war to get Goa for us, any vehicle registered in India can be driven in goa...
Cheers

U scare me snape...but u r a good man..
If i have registration in name of my father with my residential address, then , well I dont see any problem arising, coz a Gurgaon address can't possibly be of a Goan who wud illegally rent his vehicle to me. ANyways, and if we have our GIM ID cards, we sure wud be exempted from all those fundas relating to illegal activities (unless of course one does actually get involved...)
Anyway, not really a BIG concern as long as one is correct and abiding by the laws.
@ Aspire - Sir, are you from Gurgaon?
