By declared i mean that all the waitlist numbers will be generated by jennifer madam, they will not be posted on the site, u have to call her to find out.
Also i would suggest as i did b4 to call her from 14th instead of 11th as there might be some delay and u might not get the correct info. I know the wait has been long and its difficult but now its upto u guys.

Hi, well thanx for ur reply, guess i am in the same boat as yours have calls from IMT, IMI and GIM.
Could you plzzz tell me how u narrowed down to GIM, is it the place factor..

Well log pyar main kya kya nai karte fir ye to admission ka sawaal hai.....
I think this is the love of GOA n GIM which is attracting janta to take such surprising decisions . But be practical and think logically thats my suggestion although not asked for Dont take it otherwise.

@nig About place factor(GOA)... i want 2 say this is strength as well as weakness of GIM.Strength as it provides sceanic and beautiful environment which attracts students but at the same time this natural environment places GIM a lil bit far away from Corporate environment/support (comparing wid same caliber Delhi/Mumbai/Ahmedabad colleges).So its your own priorities, decide based on them.

And we sud not compare institutes as it is against PG rules so pls dont take names of institutes to compare with GIM. Use PM insted of posting on thread.

wotever said, colleges near metros, and places where many companies are there will always get better placements. coz, companies will not want to go to some unknown place when there are good colleges nearby...
hence colleges near industrial areas are always prefered.

but who am i to advice u. take ur own informed decisions. ATB.

dude,i know placements are very important and at the end of the day its the main deciding factors for many,but if the kind of education u get in a coll is not gud u mite just get a gud package but not a gud career ....................
A person wid 10lac package may be stuck at that only if he is not gud..........but some1 wid 6lac can go much higher if he has his concept rite

i m not saying that coll in metros or around them dont provide quality education, but we cannt discount other coll just bcoz they far off from main centers of business................GIM may hv tat disadv and wid new policy on SEZ in goa the disadv may become permanent but its closer to mumbai................and if the quality of eduction @ GIM is good i hv no doubts that company will make a beeline for its education............

PS: i m neither comparing any coll nor praising GIM,i just wanna clear the general notion attached to the coll in NCR and Mumbai.........
