What I can tell you is that its a different kinda pleasure biking in Goa...You mite hop on to 1 on a sunday morning and bike off to a beach...Buses are very crowded out there, but I can tell you that if you going in a group then defintely bike won't be on..Buses will be the most "fun" options..

Apart from buses , autos and cabs do ply there, but in general the public transport sytem in Goa is not the best....but dnt worry much about it coz the place itself is so good that transport wont matter so much...

isnt this the same address to which we sent our DD & PA form while applying for GIM ?

& superscribe would mean writing it in bold on the envelope ??
Also we gotta write our name and XAT ID's behind the DD..

hey.. i visited goa last year n i know wat fun it is to ride bikes in goa..!! but wat r d options avialable in terms of servicing... n petrol pumps.. n local mechanics.. pls do help out..!!

I have a peculiar problem:

I am waitlisted for GIM and also waitlisted for XLRI-PMIR with a decent chance of converting it.
Yesterday I received a mail from GIM abt submission of intial 35 K to be considered for admission.

Though I am hoping to convert Xl ..I don't want to take a chance with GIM and would join GIM if I have to.

Will this 35 K be refundable if I withdraw my admission at a later stage(considering the hopeful situation that I convert both my calls) ?

and how much time this refund process will take ?

The fact that I don't know where I stand in GIM waitlist is also adding to the confusion.

Forgive me If I sound a little naive here ...so please be gentle in your replies.

if u do pay the amount n then r offered a seat due to waitlist movement then u can only get back 34K but in case u r not offered the seat finally, all ur 35K will be refunded back.

i don't think the process will take long... but it can better be answered by the seniors..

I have been selected in the 1st list for GIM.

I have a question about the fees that we will be paying as the 1st and the 2nd installment.

Say, for some reason, I wish to cancel the admission at GIM before the course starts, how much refund of fees will I be entitled to?

or rather, will there be any refund? and if yes, till when can this be claimed?
