GIM Final Results 2008 out!!!

I dont know what to say, guess was hoping too much from GIM.Got 98.6 percentile with decent splits(read 94,95.5 and 96), apart from that had a nice GT and decent interview(it was very short 5 minutes I guess)but at the end of it I thought that I had answered everything.Current status:Second-List

Note:I thought they had said that 50% of the total marks are alloted for the XAT score and rest 30% on the GD\PI thing and work-ex.

it was 50% to XAT score, 10% to work-ex, rest to GD/PI and acads n profile..

i tried calling the insti regarding this upper cut off thing. Am quite worked up regarding it. The office unfortunately is closed, and will be closed tmrw also. She asked me to call back on Saturday, though i doubt anyone is going to admit to having an upper cutoff, if at all they do.

Anyways, heartiest congratulations to all those who made it

And i will sit and pray that xlri or ximb takes me. Though it seems like a distant dream since neither of the interviews went fantastically

I would request the people who have final converts to post their profile(work-ex with 10th,12th and grad percentages) along with their XAT percentile.I guess that will help answer lot of questions.

Note:I still dont believe they will have upper cut-off.

last year there were 150 students in first list and around 50 in second. Not sure how many from second list could convert though.

man...I am in 2nd waitlist...I hope ur stats are wrong...
