1) as u mite surely be aware, GIM has sent a mail which says that we need to pay a first installment of 35k and a 2nd one of 31.4k. Now however, they have not mentioned the total course fees(with exact break-ups). Why I ask is that what was mentioned in the GIM prospectus was a rough estimated figure and when I approached SBI for a loan, my understanding was that they needed to know the total amount. Will this total figure be sent to us thru a "hard-copy" Admission letter?... Please throw some light on this.
2) Also, does GIM have any tie-ups with certain banks where Education loans can be availed at cheaper Interest rates???

Cheers

Hey do one thing... Call Jennie and tell her about it.. Last year after the students had paid the first installment.. A copy of the fee structure was send to them so that we could avail bank loans.. I think its going to be same this year also.. But just for confirmation sake call Jennifer on 0832-2490304...

No GIM doesnt have any such tie-up.. If you want to take a loan here after coming to GIM, Andhra Bank will be the best option..

Hi Rahul,

I have been selected in the 1st list for GIM.

I have a question about the fees that we will be paying as the 1st and the 2nd installment.

Say, for some reason, I wish to cancel the admission at GIM before the course starts, how much refund of fees will I be entitled to?

or rather, will there be any refund? and if yes, till when can this be claimed?

thanks!

To all candidate selected in 1st list(or selected list)
Can any one of you please paste a copy of your e-mail as in the case of 2nd merit list calls it is written that

We are pleased to inform you that you have been placed on the Second Merit List for admission to the two-year full-time Postgraduate Programme in Management (2008-2010) of our Institute, with a reasonably good chance of securing admission to the programme.

Is there any such line in the case of first list selected also? bcoz if they have selected 150 in first list they cant assure a seat to everyone. So it will clear our doubt of no. of candidates in first list.If they have written for sure you will get a seat then the no. of student in first list = 120

even i passed out in 2005 and have applied for migration certificate...... the mode of application depends upon ur college.....in my case, college has given specific format for application on its website itself........ so better call up at ur college and talk to dean/ deputy registrar (academic) for the same.......

hope this info helps......

Hi,

Fromt he previous posts...I could make out that the letters coming from snail mail for the waitlisted people (I am one of them) also don't carry their waitlist ranks. I wanted to know why was it so? I think it would make the picture clearer in minds of people how many people were ahead of them in waitlist...

Kindly guide Rahul/Aspire...

Regards,

Himanshu

GUYS HERE IS THE CLEAR PICTURE

I just called up XIM B office again...
These are the details

180 calls for 120 PGDM seats...[He reiterated that this happens every year]
Also he assured me not to worry.....
The waitlist movement is counted apart from these 180 calls
..
He asked me not to panic and relax...that seat was assured (WL 9).
I further confirmed this by asking that i have a confirmed admit at XYZ...I dont wanna join that and join XIM B...is it ok if i dont pay up at XYZ..He said certainly..Save up to pay at XIM B. HE laughed....
He reiterated and said this year huge overlap with XL..So waitlist might move further this year.....
He asked not to take tension and enjoy [Must say Mr. Thomas is a great person to interact with]
He also told me he`s been getting lots of calls regarding these details and asked me to assure the others to remain positive....

PS : He said students will have to get their own laptops this time...and students with Waitlist number upto a certain extent will be asked to deposit Rs. 30,000/- before 3rd week of April....

I Hope this news brings cheer to all the waitlisted puys/pals.

I am waitlisted and have been asked to pay the 1st installment. It seems that the chances are good
