No ranking here dude.. Once u make through GIM, you all are equal. Regarding the kind of specialisation you do, its all at your discretion. GIM doesn't have any set criteria like fin majors or marketing majors... Rather a pool of electives are offered which one can chose based on one's area of interest. So u many like to take majority of finance subjects but also want some marketing and HR subjects.. you are free to take it...

There are few subjects in 2nd year that may have caps but actually depends on the faculty.. GIM doesnt promote any such thing..

Hmm.... first of all I dont understand what does a Recruiter from North India mean??? Does it mean a local pan walla who has shop in north india.. Or a national bank which has one office in north India... Or does it whether you get posted in North India once you are placed in a company...???

GIM has major recruiters from all over the country... But you getting placed back in your home town depends solely on the policy of the company.. If you have a company coming to campus with operations just in your home town, you will be assured that you will get to work in your hometown..

But here at GIM, there is no assurance of that sort.. You will get the best companies.. but the place you will work will depend on the company you chose to work with

This video was made by my senior Sushanth Rao "corinithian" , with most of the pics provided by me ...
It was made to be shown at the last alumni meet at bangalore.... This senior of mine works at IBM, and we 2 know what we went through to make this video, I and a friend pritam patnaik walked in the rains of bangalore to give him the cd in time..

he worked from 2 to 6 at night on this ....and we were able to show this to the alumni ...many of whom were moved to tears on watching it ... This year our rahul maverik_rahul has also made quite a few beautiful videos... many of them will soon find themselves on youtube...

I request everyone to go through the GIM videos..You will love them !

called jenifer yesterday ...but she said that we will receive a courier soon having all the details ...
and when I asked if it is possible to know my ranking in waitlist ...
she said they haven't given any ranks to ppl in the waitlist ...

now this is tricky .. I am sure she meant ..we have given the ranks but can't disclose it to you ...

seniors please help !!!

if no rankings are given then how will we know if we(waitlist people) are selected??

how will we be informed????

can seniors let us know when is the last day for confirmed people to pay their fees??? and when do waitlist people have to pay if selected???

tension is killing me yaar... i thought that i would know my ranking and thus know my chances.. but now with no rankings, the tension is gonna haunt me for another fortnight...

Could you please tell if job profiles offered at placememnts of GIM include Consulting, Treasury Management etc..??
