GIM Final Results 2008 out!!!

Hey puys

Just dint feel like posting anything here...with all the chaos going with the GIM admissions..

anyways, if nothin comes up by monday, ill b asking them to return my DD coz then itll be too late to leave my organisation and join GIM...

i love GIM admission process!!!!

As long as we were in college we gave all insider info ... Its difficult to call up Jenny and dig info ...
I ll going to GIM on 14th or 15th.. and I ll definitely have a word with the admissions cordinator and Ms Jennifer. ; but that will bit late I suppose
Is it true that none of WL pople have converted as of now ?
Last year such a situation didnt arise ...
Anyways, I will bring to the notice of admissions committee so that they take appropriate steps so that there is proper flow of information !

Actually we've all been rather disappointed with the response from GIM (to put it mildly).
It's been almost 2 months since we sent our DD, but so far not a single Wait-lister has converted the call.
We personally know a lot of people who have either not taken up the seat or already withdrawn the admission, but the Admission Committee at GIM insists that all seats are full...
If you happen to go to GIM, sometime in the coming months, could you please inquire about the same and let us know as to what is holding up the admissions??

really its getting hopeless day by day...
the problem with ppl who r workin is that the notice period is minimum 60 days
and for less than 25 days , you will be considered as absconding.
No PF.... No Relieving letter....
there should be some flow of info....

Nice to se u back on thread mandar....GIM people cud have easily told us w8 till 10 june and then we wil release the w8 list...no hassle there... but nw v cant trust the words of jenni mam....only u can tel us sum truth

so students who have paid both dd's chill wait for the big boss to come back to GIM .
also waitlisters who feel cheated u are welcome to use my XAT ID: 357452 & tell them that i have cancelled my admission as on 22nd may 2008.

Yeh it is true that not a single wait-lister has converted...
Some days back...a few of us got our WL numbers when our parents called the college...
But immediately the next day, they stopped giving the WL numbers as well...only the lucky few who called on that very day got the WL numbers...
Any help you could give will be appreciated...but frankly after this long we do not expect a positive response...

Just called up Shambhavi from PGPoffice..it was regarding some personal stuff but I did enquire about the admissions but she cudn't really answer....

As far as jennifer is concerned she always was helpful when we wer thr...atleast with our document n stuff...

@ Mandar - Chennai Lost ....was good fun the other day at Times Cafe....tu goa kab ja raha hai???? N dude me staying in ur or DK's hostel room @ grand alumni august...better make way...Lets catch up this weekend as well if u wud b in mumbai...

@ Waitlisted guys...Please wait a lil longer...we have neva witnessed nething like this before in GIM admission process...Dunno y a mess was made this year...may b it was bcoz of director falling sick....and yes staff is not that bad at all @ GIM.. m sure thr must b some reason....
