That's gr888 dude that u have saved some amount while working !!! ..Then I dont think you will have much probs to take an admission...bcoz in such a short span of time its almost impossible to arrange loans from banks...and they also want the origin certificate from Maharashtra to apply for loans...So no way out...This is what DENA bank told me yesterday...nyways ATB

Hey dude,
Can u pls clarify what do u mean by origin certificate from maharashtra to apply for loans..Does it mean that people who are not from maharashtra will not be able to avail loans??? Kindly reply...

Yes actually !! But it doesn't mean that u wont get a loan , rather it means that u get a loan from a place where u have ur proof of living ..not rental...So the bank will sponsor u loan from the place which is ur native or permanent residence...U can also clarify by talking to those people from Bank ...DENA/SBI....

goin thru the previous posts i guess i may have a chance for a Management Quota seat.

my question is
is it worth the 9 + lakhs ????????????????????
its a lot of money after all

can some one do sum analysis....

or it wud be nice if a senior cud throw some light on the same.......

also
we knw the highest .... but wat was the lowest?
also are the sal figures on the site credible?

i m in d same dilemma just like u...i ve consulted a lot f seniors and profs abt it.

i m a fresher and incase i go for a management seat then i ll have to opt for a loan.
now what the counsellors n profs have told me is that the highest package ie 24lakhs was
certainly nt given to a fresher cuz the companies visitin do ve their own preferences in bw a fresher n someone holdin a work ex .so being a fresher can prove to be a disadvantage in that case.and apart frm that there s no problem in givin management exams cat fms nmat xat and all anthr shot....believe me work ex always helps...all the ppl who ve had a jump of 1500 odd ranks would nt have been here if they were freshers like me!!!
but the decision is all urs in the end!!!

and 9 lakh is just the fees...the actual amt cud shoot up to 13-14 lakhs...see d previous threads...

ther isnt any confirmation.if you try registering again,it wont be accepted.thats the only confirmation availble!!!

i feel applyuin for mangement quota is pointless..there is no point in payin such a massive amoun i am goin for nxt yr

Hi All,

I feel that the question of ROI is far sighted ...bfore that the question comes that even If u want to arrange loan...for MQ which is more than 4 Lac/annum u wil have to submit the collateral for that..So u can go for the seat only if u are able to arrange that amnt..apart from the monthly expenses ..which is always more than 6-7k atleast....Apart from that regarding the placements ..the packages are always different for the one who are freshers and the one who are laterals...the guy who got 24k..was an IIT'ian with more than 2 years of work ex..which is the min. criteria for being a lateral..I hope things are clear to u ppl now !!!
