the criteria for applying through MQ is pretty simple.
1) has to give NMAT
2) has to get a call for GD/PI
3) has to attend GD/PI.

I have one doubt... For those who have applied for mgmt quota they will come to know the results by 26th march...and then they have to pay around 5.6L if selected by 28th ...Wat the crap...How can we arrange the money in a span of 2 days and then travel to mumbai???

hi frd's plz help mine bro gt 103.5 and final rank of 979 hd applied for management seat is there any chance ..............a ray of hope is tht lot's of aspiring candidates already gt thru sibm pune.............iim's result yet to come & xlri, ximb also there which will be prefered over nmims........plz help out frd's if u all hd any idea............... frd's plz reply i m deseprate to know as no option left for my bro............

wats ur rank ??? R u goin for management seat ?? n hw r u arranging the money for the first draft of 406150/- ?? Please share some thoughts regarding this !!!

hi,

tho these questions seems repeated, i cud not find ans for couple of them.. so askin...

wid a final rank of 551 (no other calls left for dis season), if i wish 2 go for MQ, then
1) how long ll it take fr loan to be approved?....will der b any bank kiosks set up at the adm counselling? or shud v complete dis b4 v go for counselling...
2) I dont wanna opt for the hostels, coz i learnt frm seniors n Puys that its quite a lousy place to be, moreover i wish 2 stay wid a frnd of mine in mumbai....is it possible 2 opt for MQ n still not opt for hostel accommodation?
3) at dis rank, shud i wait for WL movement? --- i feel dat it wud b better if i go for MQ (more assured compared to merit WL movement)...
4) the MQ closes on 5pm of 24th, n the merit list WL movement ll b known only on 25th, is it rite? if so, how shud v gauge d merit list movement?:

yaar gen a loan is given once u have an admit..so its difficult 2 get a loan w/o gettin a proper admit. so say u get a call for MQ seat on 26th...my understanding is u can go 2 da bank on da very same day n apply for a loan..which makes it v difficult 2 b granted in 3 days (29th...da last date)...
2ndly..i myself is in da 500s..tho in da 520s...am waiting for a merit seat...il say go 4 a MQ seat only if u think dis is ur last chance of gettin a seat n ur sure u cant get 1 anywhere next yr..coz trust me i doubt if 10 lakhs is worth for a coll like NM...im in da same boat as u r..n i thot its better 2 wait else mebe give exams n hp for smth better next yr...
3rdly..u caznzt gauge da WL movt as da last date for mgmt seat has been smartly put as 24th b4 da merit seats counselling....dis is logical frm da coll's pt of view else every1 whos a close case like u and myself wud wait for understanding da merit seat scenario n not apply for MQ seats...

I am one of the few in these threads whose ranks moved backwards 200+ ranks..even with work ex..so as far as I think..freshers weren't at a great disadvantage as I don't think that a work ex less than 1 year would have fetched me more than 1 or max 2 marks
With an avg GD/PI and decent work ex,I could only manage 10/30(shocking...!!!!!!!!)
Applying for management quota,do I stand a chance??????

My Snap marks:82.5
Considering that sibm and nmims management fees are the same,9+lacs...which one would be a better option...any idea of cut off marks for seat in management quota at sibm would be of great help..please help?????

hey bro,
my rank is 691. i have applied for MQ. theres an outside chance that i may get thru. i had a word with a senior. last yr MQ was offered around 700 and it went further once the course started. as far as the amount is concerned, im working. so i've saved enough to take care of this. but still, will apply for loan. in case i dont get it in time, i'll have to start digging my pockets.
