You think will it yield any results?? There was a lot of cribbing over selection process with 150 out of 180 marks given to written test..But what happened at the end...Nothing...They did what they had decided....Also guys remember that here we are talking about mgmt quota which is totally their discretion and not merit list...

They say that MQ is based on merit ranks..
Anyways there is no point on debating.

There is no harm if we try and get a list..
They would be having it, thats how they would be contacting students.
There is no harm in asking them to make it public.

Hi Guys....


I am a lil depressed right now...

I called up that lady to ask if they had finished sending the MQ selection
mails to the selected candidates...and she said YES...
Can the people who have been selected please post your confirmation along with your rank so that we can get a clear picture of whether we have chances or not...

My rank is 433 and still no MQ call....
Has anyone with a lower rank got a mail ?

Wats goin on ?? NO clarity on the no. of calls for the first list ..I hope ...things are crucked this time for MQ seat of NM....for sure !!!

Well,
I feel with lots of results pending still some ray of hope is there....Lets see the possibility....IMT has increased its seats from 360 to 450 this year...I personally met 2 of the people just before NM interview and both had a call from IMT...So i assume IMT should ease the load on NM by 20%.(i.e., around 90-100 people should go to IMT)..That moves the waiting list by another 100..i.e., it goes to around 400....(Merit Quota)...Now if we include SP Jain, JB, IIM's, IIT's and XL they have around 2000 seats in total..Hoping that they ease the load by 10% i.e., 200 seats we come to a merit rank upto 600...(Too optimistic, I agree.)...Ok lets take a figure upto 500 for merit seats...So we can expect MQ to go upto 700 (assuming 1 in 5 apply)..
Well any suggestions????

Doston,

When I login,I get the following message:

"The admissions for management quota have closed.However,if any vacancy comes up in the future,people will be informed"

Now I have a final rank of 505......so not having qualified is out of question.But yet,no mail is there in sight.

Anyways not going for it anymore with a WL of 23 in XIMB(Which will convert 100%)

Guys me just back From NM after paying the fees for MQ..my merit no. is 304..
sum IMPORTANT piece of info..
i believe sum 20+ odd ppl turned up for payment of fees..
i met the DEputy Registrar Mr Shinde at his office and he has confirmed dat

"PPL WHO HAVE TAKEN THE SEAT IN MQ, IF THEIR RANKS COME IN THE MERIT LIST, THEN THEIR ADMISSION WILL BE CONVERTED TO THE MERIT LIST FROM MQ"

I repeat...

"PPL WHO HAVE TAKEN THE SEAT IN MQ, IF THEIR RANKS COME IN THE MERIT LIST, THEN THEIR ADMISSION WILL BE CONVERTED TO THE MERIT LIST FROM MQ"

So i believe there wont b any further confusion regarding the MQ n Merit Seats..

n also fr info..they have given calls till Merit No. 424 in the first MQ list...
nw depending upon the vacancies they ll give rest of the calls..
