NMIMS CORE 2008-10  | A lot of guys, sitting on the verge on the NM-waitlist, can be cautiously optimistic..There is quite a bit of movement which could take place in the next 7-10 days, with the CET merit lists out yesterday...some guys (which prbbly includes myself) are not cent per cent sure of a seat thr..so wud perhaps have to stick around a little longer...
So, waitlisters...pls bear wid ppl like me and more importantly the admission process via CET...

Called up admission office. Merit rank has moved till 401.
Me in line at 428.
Could someone (esp. seniors) enlighten as to how difficult/easy is it to cope for the missed classes as i expect a call by 12th July(Saturday) only ??

hey another piece of great news!!
i cancelled my admission at NM today (my rank was 44th) as iv got a prospectiv JB admit comin up.. final CET ranks wer out only yest evenin so cudn cancel earlier.. yet the NM authorities seem competent enough to help the latest admits blend into the course without a hitch.. n it seems a real cool, flexible n comprehensiv course at tht!
another thing.. fees r being deducted on a pro rata basis since 23rd June, so those with a real chance 4 JB (ssb_sam2000 ?) may b better off cancellin sooner than later..
also 12th july is the last date by which any refund will b given on cancellin admission.. after tht NO refund will b given (this was wot Mr. Shinde conveyed to me yest)
hope my cancellation helps one of u real soon.. u don wanna miss out on a single day at NM! (next week NMs takin evry1 out to imax wadala.. get the picture?  )
a coupl of batchmates of mine r on the verge of cancellin their admissions 4 JB too.. so b prepared 4 sum more calls soon!

As i told to geminigal...
i know two more guys in my division who are opting out of NM for IIM and JB... so chilll.. just movements and calls are due... which i think would be out pretty soon...
P.S: slow process of calls may be due to the admission process for mithibai college and other related colleges of SVKM

well if u see MQ also has moved....2 people in merit 388 and 395 got converted to merit seats from MQ...and subsequently 574 and 578 were called for MQ...this is wat i think
