calld NM once again ...they don seem too encouragin...am sooooooooo close ( 3ranks ) yet not sure wethr wil get thru :( :( and thts killin as the days go by! the lady on the fone said MQ closed at 568 n not sure if calls wil b given further :(..... i call em evryday single day to hear somthn positive...but to no respite evrytim.... :( not fair!

My doubts:

1) What if they close the admission process on the 23rd, and JB announces its results on the 25th?! Will the students who withdraw their admission then get nothing at all?! And if at all they do, will further calls be given? Or will those seats remain vacant?
2) Should there not be a formal announcement regarding the date of closure of admission? Has anything been put up on the NM website? What has been conveyed so far has been by word of mouth..

Also one point, some puys said that 15-20 MQ occupied seats are there till 400. The last MQ rank called before upgradations started was 538. (all 36 seats occupied) And the last MQ call till now is 568. I dont see 15 ppl called between 539-568. Do they call after the whole process gets completed (ie. diff. amount refunded to the candidate and seat upgraded to meriit) ? If that is the case we may have a chance.. wht say ?

MQ seats were over by about 424, when I went to pay my fees... That was much before upgradations started. It was later that it moved till 538, and forward thereon.

I have the same confusion...I inquired about this, but the staff there says that it is for the president, Mr. Mukesh Patel to decide.

They have no info on the admission closure date.

As of now, I feel we'll just have to wait and hope for the best so we don't end up losing a lot of cash!!
