8 weeks have passed since the results of NM were declared.
One thing to cheer about is that we have successfully killed the time.
Still we are here with our eyes glued on PG:eyepop:, trying to get every bit of information from NM and keep a track of it:detective:.
There are not more than 6 weeks left now for admissions to close:(.
As the date of course commencement approaches, cancellation and wait list movement should also catch the speed. oketounge:
Lets see what this saturday has in store for us..

Anyways, my rank was 327 and I'd gone to pay the fees today...
My two-pence contribution: (most of which is about the hostel),

1. Hostel (G.R. Jani) is/was available as of today.

2. If we are not satisfied with the hostel, we can move to Residential Flats provided by NM, subject to availibility... (Confirmed this from NM's admin dept... Also, if we are not happy, we have to inform them before the course starts...Else, 1/10th of the hostel fees will be deducted and the rest will be refunded).

3. Hostel has a mess which serves "limited" thali @ Rs 30, breakfast, juices etc... The hostel warden said that it is a pay-and-eat policy...Also, we could pay for a month in advance...(He did warn me however that we might have to eat outside once a day... And I quote him "You guys will be there in the college most of the time... You might be here only for breakfast and dinner").

4. The Hostel is at a walkable distance from NM.. Roughly about 10 min.

5. Couldn't extract any info about cancellations / MQ being upgraded etc. (Though there were about 6 people who were there with me to pay the fees and one guy who had come to cancel his admission.. No details available though).

as we can c only 2 posts of admissions this week, we can say even if most of the ppl b/w 320 and 338 r not on pg....v can expect only 4-5 more odd ppl takink admision.

This means we still have arnd 15 cancellations under process(according to our list) and goinf\g by the current trends this may take the calls in the next 2 weeks to arnd 370(my guess).

Waiting for some cheerful posts today.

Pulkit has already deposited his fees. He is saying when he had been called, it had been around 12:30, so people expecting calls should be ready around the same time.

BTW..does anybody know why nobody in NM has been picking up the phone since friday...i tried calling a 1000 times but to no avail. The number is still 2613 4577 right..??

@hound doggie- even i calld up nm today just out of curiosity as to how many calls wud be given today.. the rude lady said she had no clue coz data was wid othr dept. so only later will they also know.. :(

Everyone i m rite now in 1st year PGDM..and had also confirmed my NMIMS Seat , Merit Rank 283 and would be cancelling the admission somewhere next 1-2 weeks..
