I suppose today few ppl will be surely called (saturday) ..Puys pls keep in mind to squeeze in some info if possible . Cancellations process at NM is slow , Lets hope for some good number of calls today . ATB to all the wait listers

My rank is 608 and I am hoping for a MQ seat. In my opinion, in order for people with ranks above 600 to get seats, the merit list needs to move at least upto 420 odd rank. Without that, there will not be sufficient cancellations of MQ seats. However, looking at the past few weeks, I am unable to put my finger on the reason for the low rate of waitlist movement. The IIM results were much awaited and we expected a good deal of movement post the results. But, it doesn't seemed to have happened. I am hoping that the reason is the cascading effect of delays in the process of cancelling seats at other colleges ranked above NM. :lookroun:

dude have patience these things take time

the NM guy will move to IIT , IIT guy will move to MDI , he MDI guy wll move to IIM I/L/K , the IIM I/L/K guy will move to IIM A/B/C etc etc, even if each of these colleges take 4-5 days to process a bunch of applications then it will take atleast 2-3 weeks for the real WL movement to begin

ps -altho i m running out of stock of patience , it feels gooood to give the same advice

Hello everyone,

Havent received any mail yet so called up NM...i think i spoke to Mr.Shetty (not sure abt the name though)...told him my rank and all...he took my mail id and mobile no. and told me to chk my mail today evening...he also said if u dont receive any mail by today then call me up around this time only, on monday.

manpreet123 @ 539 rank also called up and they were saying that they have just started upgrading the data in their systems so calls if they r to be sent will be sent in the evening only else on monday.

Hoping for the best by monday now :-)
