Going thru the IIM S thread I did not find even a single puys who had a common convert with NM :(.. Don't know why, but the number of cancelations after the IIM results were far too less.. :(...I just wish the number increases and the WL lives upto its expectation (read match previous years' atleast)

Dont loose hope dude...
Waitlist will move more because of other colleges like MDI, NITIE which has direct impact of IIM results.
So this cascading effect will take some time.. but it will move for sure!

hey acc to the thread ... till 2nd june 07 only ranks upto 420 got calls......
ths means if the list went upto 460+ ( as stated previous on various accounts)
is it that 40+ calls were made in a time period of 8days???

if so,
its a long wait to be expected......

hey.. 40+ calls were'nt made in 8 days but over a month.. ppl say till july waitlist clears.. but we cant rely on all this.. i guess trend can change also :( just cant see new ppl coming in n cancelling their admissions..

friends i also believe that the movt. till now is below expectation but when i go through other subscribe threads like iit-d and iit-kgp there the movement is somewhat absent so compariring those nmims is moving much faster but i think this is the time to test our ptience and to hold our nerves and i know we all will succesfully pass through this crucial phase of our life and career for a better future and career and
all the best of all the puys who are in the waitlists (including me)

not to be spoilsport or sumthin
but going by the cancellations so far
and anticipating the direct and indirect movement it can be inferred that this yr the waitlist wont be able to go beyond 350-60 till the joining date(23 june)
Hope I am wrong at this and waitlist movement is much more but this is what it seems as of now.
Lets be a little more realistic ppl.

puys it's look more convincing to me that there waitlisting is not moving as it should be even after imt(g),xlri,fms,spjain,iim's,mdi etc declared the results ,the number of cancellations is paltry. i sincerely hope this is not the case ,
i wish the waitlisting rank goes for maximum,
