one of my frend got thru iimk so hes going to cancel the seat he had secured earlier.
Its a merit seat.He will do it on monday.

Hello everybody...SwErT brings u news!!!
My friend called me up just a while back...he paid his MQ fees...he's at rank 529. Now for the crucial updates.
(1) THE SESSION IS TO START BY 23RD JUNE AND NOT 10TH JUNE. My friend confirmed this news from the COURSE COORDINATOR. He said that individual mails will be sent out to students and it will be put up on the website also.
(2) My friend mentioned that at the time he was there, the registrar got a call from a guy ranked 302...he had paid up for the MQ seat and was requesting for fees refund as he had been upgraded to merit seat now. THE REGISTRAR THEN PUT A CROSS AGAINST HIS NAME. My friend could spot one more cross in the list but could not see the rank.
(3) His name on the MQ list was at 35th position.

Hi,
This would be relevant for people above 600....one of my friends got thru IIM - K so she definitely wont take up NM...her final rank was somewhere in the 600+ region...hope this helps...will try and find out anything else that might help!!

Important News for every1 :
After seeing Swert's post i called up NM and talked to the Course Coordinator(was unable to get her name though) ....as per her :
1) 10 June is NOT the start date anymore for sure for MBA CORE course program
2) Most probable start date now is 23 June and this would be communicated via personal email to every1 selected and who paid the fees at NM latest by 2-3 days and the website will also be updated asap ( latest by 15 May )
3) the Foundation programe would be of ONLY 7 days from 23 June onwards...the main course starts as earlier in July...no gap btw Foundation course and Main course start apart

puys...if above news is true...we are really on marathon race..the joining date has been postponed by more 10 days.....(Due to IIM result postponing and AICTE rule )..:icon_cry:btw it would be helpful since jbims results wud come at around june 12/13 which has effect on nmims waitlist ...hope patience pays and any idea wen wud obc list for iims gonna come..(i think it wud have some impact)
aur kitna time legega  ???

Congrats to all those who made it to IIMs !!! Wish you all the best.
Delay in beginning of the course is surely a good news since i would get a longer break after getting released from office but if the foundation course is going to be of 7 days as dubya said then i gues we engineers would have to do something ourselves about basics of accounting !!!! what say guys???
