Ya ..even I think that till now the seats of MQ wud have been filled up ...so the only way out is the cancellations of seat from hence forth ...Offcourse there wud be some cancellations ...Our whole point of speculation will get solved once we are able to get an approximation of the no. of applicants from 300 - 400 rank who have applied for MQ and the no. of exact applications after the rank of 529 ..this wud offcourse give us a clear picture ..apart from that there may be some students who wud cancel their seats as they might be W/L somewhere...but as of now ..I think this is the only calculation we need to do from our side !!! wat say guys ??

@abhi: I completely agree with you.. And with MDI likely to increase their fees by 40% (close to 11 L), I serriouly think that MQ in NM is a good bet... (Shud have applied myself

)... So, Untill some guys between 300-400 convets their MQ seats to merit seats, there will be very few movements...
Add to it the IIMs results woes

Guys could anyone gather what is the exact number of cancellations till date??..

hi puys .. m applying for educational loan.. n the bank ppl are asking abut the expenditure on buks .. i m in a fix. as i called Nm btu they were not able to give an exact fig.. i think seniors will be in beter position to give some fig.. plz help...

uptil 350 how many had actually taken up MQ seat any idea?
i m stuck at 539 very near yet so far

upgradation and cancellations are the hopes left

304 is being upgraded ???

and how many other ppl in 300 list have taken up MQ seat any stat available

@manmeet: You can add rank 307 to ur list.. He is also getting upgraded to the merit seat..

.. And he was reporting another case (rank-304) who is also getting upgraded. Dont know if my understanding is correct ...

till now two prospects i have found one is 304 who is being upgraded and one is 422 who has iitd as option i dont know whether he has got it
he has cliamed that if he gets iitd so he will consider only merit at NM
