Bhaiyon aur unki behenon... Mein aaj NIFT Delhi gaya Last year placements ke baare me poochne ke liye.. After waiting for 1 and a half hours for Archana Gandhi to be free, thankfully she was able to spare 2 minutes of her precious time for me...
She said Last year placements were really down.. Only 64% on campus placements.. that too in installments.. Like the last placements completed just in May last.. Some students were recruited in internship period itself...
According to her, the minimum package last year was 12000 pm.. Avg was 3.25/annum and max was 8/annum.. I dont know how true this info is coz she was in gr8 hurry..
During the time I was asked to wait, I decided to go to the Amphitheatre where BFTech councilling was going on.. It was a bit confusing.. I suppose all the BFTech design aspirants have been kept in a single group and they have been allowed to take the course and centre of their choice as per availability..
There was one interesting fact for SARAH NISHA AND MADDY..
At that time, waitlisted students were getting the councillingand Rank numbers of around 790 were on.. still 2 seats in Chennai were left.. As far as I get there were only abt 624 general seats while general students upto rank 900 were called.. Apart from Chennai, all the old centres were closed.. 12 seats were left in Patna.. This means only 8 students had opted for it till then.. Similar scenario existed for other new centres as well.. kannur, Bhopal, Guwahati all had some seats left...

hey puys dis is preti
i am a new entrant in2 dis discussion n i hav sumthin 2 add abt wat i got 2 knw 4m several seniors, and pass outs not only from d mfm course but also other courses like knitwear FD etc. to begin wid d main verdict acordin 2 deir comments is dat if 1 does not get thru nift delhi 1 shud not hang up ones boots n opt out. the course has a lot 2 give 2 u if u really r passionate abt it an really work smart not only hard. wat has been understood by me is dat aftr delhi all centres like mumbai, bengaluru, hyderabad and kolkata are worth goin 2 baring d hostel conditions wich is like servants quarter types in places like mumbai n kolkata. dey said 1ce u join d course u can definetly live in PGs as dere r plenty of options available evrywhr. 2nd delhi has lost its charismatic style as faculties r really dropin out. 3rd delhi has dis bias against othr centres of hoarding d best companies durin placements but dudes if u r d best whr eva u r drs no stoppin u n dis is not said by me but d seniors i talkd 2. 4th our course has a total of 8 months intenship if u havnt noticed, 2 months in 2nd semester n 6 months whole for4th sem. during dis period v can go 2 any damn city n do our internship yaar. d colg insti gives options wen companies cum for interns. i have got 2 know a lot in dis week aftr d results came out. i have churnd out a lot of info n jus cant type out my mind here.. drs much 2 dis if u wana knw nethin lemme knw i will try 2 respond.

well puys,
i think wat varun is saying is absolutely correct.. we have only 2-3 outta 120 odd ppl talking stuff against this course... so just think everyone needs to think abt this course keeping their goal in mind and then decide wats best for them.
