Well I don’t see anyone put their comments on the third case study… so I thought I could do the honours.. lol!!!
Analysis…
I feel abhi should try convincing kabhi first and remind him that this has been their dream for a really long time and they shouldn’t become weak and follow the path usually travelled by most graduates… after that he should try convincing kabhi’s dad to permit his son to go ahead with the business…he can tell his dad that what work they would be doing for somebody is the same which they will do for their own business and make larger profits and thus have more income, as kabhi’s dad’s concern seems to be the money aspect of the business…probably both the boys can do a research and come up with solid evidences which will reflect close to actual profit figures and also ease the tension which kabhi’s dad seems to be having… there is another point abhi can stress on – their brilliant academic records… he can tell kabhi’s dad that incase they aren’t successful in their business, they will anyday get good jobs as they have studied in a reputed institute and have always been the toppers…
but if his efforts to convince fail, he should go ahead with it himself as he is also equally intelligent and also has adequate funds; which is usually the biggest problem an entrepreneur has to face…
You never know, seeing abhi’s success, kabhi’s father may get convinced with the business proposal and allow his son as well to go ahead with his friend…

Case Study : Points that go against them starting their business
1- Kabhi has decided not to
2-kabhi's father is not convinced...
3-Lack of field expertise.
** we should not forget that both cracked CAT... what do u think makes a better Combo
1- TWo IIT graduates attempting at a revolutionary s/w + LAck of finance(in case they dont wana take abhi's father's help
OR
2- One IITian+ 2 yrs of EXp in YAhoo + ONE iitian who has just completed his MBA from a premier college (consider Abhi has a good chance to get thru CAT) + the fact that they can attract investors easily... So no need to get Emotional... they can still fulfill their dreams... Bollywood IShtyle...

After going thru all the matter it seems tht they have all those favourable conditions reqd to turn their dream into reality, so they need not to be impulsive rather shud go in a proper planned way.

At their this nascent stage, they need to learn abt dual technology and businesss management for the proper execution of their objective. They shud go step by step as:

1. Go for jobs offered by Yahoo and Nokia, one in each as per their consent, so tht
they can acquire enough knowledge for their proposed idea .
2. Next, after gaining experience of 2-3 yrs and enough monetary base, they should
get admission into one of the topmost B-schools by cracking CAT ( as done earlier)
in order to learn all essentials n nuances of B-world.
Once they are incorporated with all- technology, business strategies and finance, they can systematically foray into this field with undoubted approval of their parents. In this way they would be able to follow their dream.

hey just one point, there isn't any mention that the two dont wanna take abhi's dad's help... but yeah otherwise i kinda agree to wat you stated.... Thanks for posting your views...

Hi, frankly speaking i do not know how to approach these kind of questions; it would really help if we all can participate ; and this statement, seems to me more of a Paradox.... What i can think of is this........

-Left cannot exist without right and vice versa ; and if Left IS right then we have Two rights but Zero Lefts but as said earlier, they cannot exist independently. So, a case of Mutual dependence.

Hmm.....the topic is good to do some mental exercise.
Well It is a universal fact, tht left is left and right is right.....coz it is assigned so...just like east is east and west is west...think if both are mistakenly interchanged there would be a huge chaos...all the geographical and physical, geometrical parameters n phenomenons may start proving wrong..........

Well ....this was one of the shade of explanation...........
Similarly, the topic can be interpretated in various dimensions.
