Does anyone know where do I stand with a rank of 207 (waitlisted) MFTech (Management)? Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

i called aima 2dy morning....d same guy said pls cal me aftr half n hr or so...i said ok...agn called up aftr half n hr....he said plss madam call me aftr lunch...dat time i got irritated n insisted him 2 tel me dat wat ws my result..toh he instantly said dat u hv a rank..kaafi peeche..n hv been waitlisted...i said pls tel me d rank...toh he said dat i wil tel u aftr lunch....(dont thy get 2 knw who has been shortlisted or waitlisted from thr ranks only???)
thn agn i called up nift n told them abt d whole issue..toh dis time thy said dat humare paas toh kuch aata hi nahi hai...i said koi list hogi selected ki or waitlisted ki..toh thy said no jo hai aima ke paas hi hota hai...yahan result ka kuch nahi aata...( toh whr thy were searching for my name n roll no ystrdy when thy said ki ur name n roll no is nt on list????)

finally i went aima....n spoke 2d concerned person thr on extension....he said dat urs is 296 rank..it is d last rank n u hv been waitlisted...it is d last rank dat is y is is nt on site abhi..wil b uploaded soon....

now puys tel me....dont thy hv a written database jisko dekh kar thy upload d result on site?? if thy have ( whch i think thy mst b hvng) toh usmain toh mera naam hoga na...toh y thy told me aftr checking thr list dat ur name n roll no doesnt exist in d list...????????
ws my name omitted from d list??? n thy gave me dis rank jst 4d sake of avoiding a scene which i mite hv created?????

wel now i knw dat nothng cn b done n i hv been given 296th rank.....

pallavi wat ever happened is really bad ... i think u should get ur marks checked again ..dont let it go just like tat.... nift ka system is really bad... they dont even giv us the written exam ka marks... nothing at all?????????? bloody how do we know where we went wrong???? u should create a scene trust me they cant take students for granted dude!!!!!!!! wat if u deserve a much better rank???

i knw dat nift ka system is really bad....bt wat cn i do?? i cnt prove dat thy have done sum khapla or sumthng.... thy dont tel marks to every1...n dats thr rule ki thy jst tel it overal....also if in case main scene create karun bhi toh bhi thy cn vry easily change my marks n show me n cn prove dat dis ws d rank which i deserved in real...im sure thy wont b showing me or ny1 my test papers or nythng...as thy dont dat 4 ny1....
im toh highly depressd yaar.....
im nt agreeing dat i cnt b on 296th rank..i cn b..bt den d only question arises in my mind is y thy said dat my name is nt in d list, dat thy cnt find my name existing in d list at al....n dat hv i appeared 4 gdpi??

i hav a fren anupriya who has 8th rank ndd aftr goin thru the posts .. i came 2 know,, tht sukhi also has an 8th rank ,,

thts kinda strange 2 me,, is it possible,,ppl havin overlappin ranks. imean plz dunn tell me,, tht thers a possibility of 3 or more candidates having the same rank postion thts absurd n disheartening 2me,, plz explainn
