God i love this colourful feel of this thread. green and white was certainly boring.
Ok, as far as waitlists are concerned, i think the excel file needs to posted again, and lets update the info as much as we know. lets help these people out.

So nurav, the_phenomenonanybody who has the latest list kindly post the file and lets all update it according to what we know about who is joining and who is leaving. should at least give a conservative estimate to the waitlist movement.

Hey Thanx all for such a quick response!!!

So the waitlist tracking action has gained momentum again ...hope it wont die till 1st July.

I think the Crucial day will be the 6th May and surely the days after tht when v will get the updates from LG Mago sir or Gaurav Gulati sir as how many ppl have confirmed or canceld their seats.
I feel many ppl with IIMs havnt deposited the fee ..but some might have coz only 4 days gap is thr betwn rslt declaratn and IIFT fee depostn last date.

And more movment shouldl be ther afr the movement in MDI, SP Jain ,FMS,XLRI and few IITs waitlist.I think mainly these colleges will affect IIFT waitlist.(I pray it does this year!)

So lets keep tracking , analysing and praying !!!

Yeah! I found out these names to help ppl who are waitng for IIFTK (including me) and also who will move from K to D if the ranks of above ppl are gud enuf.

I think ppl will choose MDI /FMS/NITIE over IIFTK ...though its my personal view.I may b wrong.

Thanks for the response guys ...
But seriously , I dunno whether I ought to be relieved or not ..
Ack letters have been trickling down to remote parts of Kerala .. And that's as far down south as u can go in India :-)
And I'm waiting for 'deliverance' in Hyderabad ..

Anyways, as it's still too early for them to understand the implications of giving me an admit, I guess it's safe to think of the ack as being on its way ..

I haven't received the acknowledgement for the first installment fees payment. I did call up IIFT and they confirmed that they have received the payment.

Is the ack required at a later stage for anything ? can I rest content that they have received the payment ? or must I call up somebody else to confirm ?
