Hey Harihar,

I received the acknowledgment receipt a couple of days ago. So, yours must be on its way. I had deposited the fee by 16th April, by the way.

The actual date of joining will also be mailed to us separately. The mails will be sent after 5th may.

by the way for people from IIFT kolkata. IIM results are out, nows the time that will decide what happens. i am sure quite a few of you should make it to delhi. and this prayer of mine goes out especially for people like gvg, who have been thinking for a long time to be in delhi.

So buddies, best of luck. hope quite a few of you make it to delhi and some more waitlisted people convert iift kolkata. cheerio puys.

Hi Harihar,

I got my acknowledgement card yesterday. It was dispatched on 26th from Delhi.

I too had called them up and they had acknowledged the receipt of my letter. So yours too must be on the way. I posted on 15th April by Speed Post.

Congrats to all the puys who got thru IIMs!!!!!
Plz find some time to post here if u r leaving IIFT nd joing any of the IIMs .
It will be really helpful to track down the waitlist movement.

As now all the rslts are out...the waitlist movmnt picture can be a bit clearer if ppl post which B-School they are finally joing.And I think this is the time to be active on this thread to trcak the waitlist movmnt ...coz only few collgs can affect the movmnt in IIFT and IIMs are surely in the list and the biggest catalyst in the movmnt (I hope) so plzzz lets make it a bit easy for ppl who r in IIFTK waitng for IIFTD and ppl like me waitng for the IIFTK.

Keep rocking ...and posting the status!!!.

Thnx finally this post attracted some attention.Earlier posts of mine didnt(it was related to waitlist) .
Puys I feel IIFT thread is the one where waitlist movmnt tracking is a bit dead kinda,say the NMIMS thread is very alive with the waitlist mvmnt trackg . I feel thats becoz IIMs rslts werent out but NOW is the TIME....

Plz post here if u are going to leave IIFT for other college and if U've already paid the fees and yeah! which IIFT seat(K or D) you are holding currently.

As the IIM reslts are in form of CAT regtn number ur inputs are rqrd.

Plz yaar amidst the Travel planng ,bulk deals for laptops, and the uniform discns plz find time for waitlist discns to help poor souls like me who are just waitng since 11th March. Though I wud have lovd to take part in all the above cool and happeng discns had I made thru...:(

I think the best place to get the updated info would be the college itself.
Not all IIFT converts are posting on Pagalguy and there is a pretty indicative list of possible candidates opting for different colleges,( refer to Changezee's post with the excel sheet).

It would be better if we could start a poll on the thread with the following options:

1. Converted IIFT-D and joining
2. Converted IIFT-D but not joining
3. Converted IIFT-K and joining
4. Converted IIFT-K but opting for IIFT -D only.
5. Converted IIFT-K but not joining IIFT at all.

This will make things more clear atleast for the ones active on Pagalguy. We can extrapolate the results of the poll to get a fair idea of the waitlist movement then.

But i think the poll can be started either by a mod or by the person who started the thread (parulbajaj). Find her

This is really a gr88 idea..parul has left the thread I think. So mod can start he poll or eiher v can have an excel sheet which can be updated.

I sersly agree with you tht collg iself is he best place for he updates but ..the activity on this thread will keep us all updated and it will surely help ppl next yr to get the picture of wat happened this yr (as I followed he last yrs IIFT thread to get the waitlist movmnt info) .

I feel all the puys think so coz...this forum is all abt helping each other and keep updated..isn't it.

Such xcel sheet already exists.. with Changezeee.... he has been updatin it.. PM him plz..

I have already recieved updated of 3 IIM converts common with IIFT
