Hi tanay,
For an edu loan it can take upto 3-4 days and for scholar loan it takes 4-5 days give or take one at max.
Pan card is essential for your co-borrower.If u dont have one, no need to worry, you can submit your any other ID proof. The bank ppl need asssurance which obviously ur parents or guardian will give. So relax this tension is not urs to take!!!

See, as i have posted in an earlier post, there is nothing which says only the designated branch at the institute will give the loan. In fact, i visted SBI HQ in Fort, Bombay and i was advised to take the loan from Ahmedabad, as my proof of prermanent address is of A'bad. The thing with PSU's is there is lot of confusion among the staff about their products/services. I would suggest u pay a visit to the Zonal office of sbi nearest to u. That's what i too will do in A'bad.

Hi,

Friends, we have got into a good b school, so now that that's done, how about some action and adventure? I shall be quitting by the end of May, and so have June to spare for some fun. I have never had an outing for a long long time. So I am keen on one before I join IIFT. So, friends, ready to join me?

There's an All India Pagalguy Meet 2008 to be conducted in June '08, mostly near Bangalore. So one option can be to go to this meet, and then, we can head to some good place in the south - like Coorg, Waynand, Kabini, Pondicherry et al - after that. I am also open to goin to north or east or even west, for that matter. The outing will be a bit longish - I mean it won't be just for the weekend. Neither will it be luxurious (I have to survive two years yaar).

So every one out there, who wants to have a last roll of fun before the grind in b school and life thereafter, do contact me. I am based in Bombay, and will head home to Ahmedabad after I quit my service.

Great idea Ankur and Kinshu

Adventure sports in Rishikesh, evading the summer heat by resting in the hills of Uttaranchal and yes a possibility of exporing Jim Corbett National Park -All this would be real fun. We can definitely plan the trip once most of us get the relieving dates from the company.

That sounds good to me. Are u based in Delhi? That can be one of the options. I suppose Rishikesh also has some adventure activities. So guys, start your research on places of interest.

that is an excellent piece of information ... we can safely assume i think that out of 45...15 will get through and 10 may not join .. hence we aleady have the list of ppl not joining going up to 20 ... and the IIM results are yet to be out...... that shud definitely add another 30 ... hence our previous analysis of WL 23-25 seems good.. !!!

My family lives in Gurgaon... I am working in Infy Pune... I am quite sure of going atleast till Hardwar in June.

There is a place called Auli(?) near Devprayag where you can do stuff like ice skating and Rock climbing and rappeling etc... sounds fun huh?

good to find so many people interested... i think we can really fix something up for June...

Looks like you have been really keeping tabs on this WL movement. Listen is there any chance of me making it. I am on 39 in Kolkata list.
