hi puys
i went to central bank of india
and they are giving loans at 11%
so i feel if somebdy dont get scholar loan which is i guess 10.75 then he/she can go for it....
also less hassels in it as no new acc is mandatory
and they will give u cheque the very next day u submit the filled form of loan
all d require is

10,12,btech marksheets
iift prospectus
admin letter
ur passport photo

Got my letter today, most probably would go for pay 10K stay only in Delhi list option. Right now I am not decided over Kolkata.

Hoping that my rank 11 helps me get through Delhi. Btw, receiving the adm letter feels great

Anyone else going for the pay 10k stay in Delhi and chuck kolkata option???

freinds I have thought a lot about w/l movement (for top league colleges excluding IIM ABC or may be l to some extent) and i have come to this idea..I think that there is nothing on earth that an predict the w/l movemnt..it really depends a lot on individual factors..considering only top league or may be 2300 people who appear in b school entrances make it to top ten...
But w/l for any college will move between 30-50% of its intake..nearer to 50% more often.
evidence of the rule....
1) in last 3 years 2times..for BM @ XL course-intake is 130..w/l has moved roughly around 60.60 is near to 50&% intake.
2) last year in XL PMIR, w/l cleared til 26.again near to 50% intake 65.
3) in FMS last year,w/l cleared till 26..again near to 50% of intake 64 (Gen category)
4) on same basis, at 120 intake IIFT del w/l will ROUGHLY clear till 60..32 already in del list..and another 30 from K list move in....

From 45 ppl we have 10 def not joining.. and 15 still to decide ..
So if i say from every 45.. 15 dosent join( a little conservative assumption) ... that comes to about 1/3

so we would have about 50 from the 152 leaving for other options..
hence i would say WL movement this time coud be till 20 in KOL list.. and could go upto 25 since we mite have ppl frm this list moving out also..


Such was not the movement last time cos of the unique paper set by IIFT cos if which the no. of overlaps was very less ..

Can anyone here enlightne us about the 2006 WL movement scenerio... from wat i could gather the merit till 170 moved to IIFT-D that means till around 45 WL
IIFT- D 126 calls = 140% of 90 seats
IIFT- K 84 calls = 140% of 60 seats,

and this yr the seats is 120 so a higher no. of WL..

Hi Kinshu,
Gud research. But as u wud have seen, rate for loan exceeding Rs 4L is: BPLR + 0.5% term premia –0.75%. BPLR is 12.50%. Hence effective rate is 12.25%, which is on the higher side.

Hi Anshul,
On the site of the bank, rate for Cent Vidyarthi is given as BPLR-0.50% (for male). BPLR is 13%. So rate comes to 12.50%. How did the bank tell u it is 11%?
