Guys, me too got through.. interview was excellent (on my startups) but GD was OK.. I am happy that I got thru..

Vaise, seniors, this time the avg salary is 10.11 LPA but in MDI or other instis, they show the avg salary is around 14..

I know IIFT is equally good as MDI (even PG rankings attest this), etc. but why such a huge disparity in salary figures?

this is precisely the reason......historically IIFT has always been able to accomodate the number of calls given.....so guys who see their names in the list, enjoy your moment of glory though it'll last for the next two years......though I sincerely prey to convert my rest of the calls, I can still give my right arm to study at this place.....

dont go by the salaries...profiles offered to both the colleges are more or less the same...and remember then iift has around 200 students so average does die out a little bit

im totally confused...thr are 74 names in kolkatta camp list...n thr are 60 seats..nw when they say letters fr waitlist will be dispatchd...do they mean that the 14 extra ppl are in the waitlist or do they mean that thr is a separate waitlist...plzzz sm1 kindly clarify this...am i thru ya still thr is sm doubt??

There will be a separate waitlist buddy.......all calls given rite now are confirmed calls......Believe me (and it's true) IIFT will take all the people whom they have called

dont worry, i just had a chat with my senior who is in iift itself. she told me that the list always comes in the same format, assuming that a few people will not pay the fees.if at all the seats r not filled even after that, then the waitlist will b sent out...and if all 152/74 for delhi/kolkata claim a seat then so be it...everyone will b offered admission...everyone in the list has a seat confirmed at the respective campuses
